One of the most common questions when designing pool lighting is how many LED spotlights should be installed. As a general guide, people usually refer to one spotlight for every 20 m\u00b2 of water surface area<\/strong>, but this rule does not allow for the correct sizing of all installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final figure depends on the projector\u2019s luminous flux, the shape of the pool, the colour of the lining, the depth, the arrangement of the light fixtures and the desired effect. A light-coloured, rectangular pool does not have the same requirements as a dark-coloured pool, an L-shaped pool or a pool with steps and shallow areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you work out the surface area of a swimming pool?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
