The circular drain for a concrete swimming pool It is designed to be integrated into the pool floor and form part of the installation’s hydraulic circuit. Its function may vary depending on the project: it can be used as a bottom suction point, to assist with recirculation or as a drainage element, provided that the hydraulic design and the pool’s safety requirements allow for this.

The current Trypool product specification confirms that it is made from ABS, features UV protection and corresponds to the SUMR model number. The brand’s catalogue also specifies a 2″ connection for this version.

Its circular cover protects the top opening of the unit and ensures a seamless finish at the bottom of the pool.

The cover must remain securely fastened during operation. If it shows signs of breakage, deformation, looseness or missing fastenings, it is recommended that the circuit be shut down until the affected components have been replaced or repaired.

The available documentation does not confirm that this is an anti-vortex cover. Therefore, this feature must not be included in the marketing material, images or technical specifications until there is a specific certificate or data sheet to support it.

As it is designed for concrete swimming pools, it must be installed during the construction or refurbishment of the pool, before the final lining is completed.

The professional must check:

It should also be confirmed whether it includes screws, gaskets or other fittings, as the current page does not list them.

The 2″ connection alone does not determine the permissible flow rate.

The maximum flow rate will depend on:

For this reason, the selection must be based on the hydraulic design and the full technical specifications.

To ensure the product remains in good condition, it is recommended that you check the lid regularly, remove any accumulated dirt, check that it is securely fastened and look out for any cracks or leaks.

Installation, commissioning and maintenance must be carried out by professionals; do not use the drain if the cover is missing, incomplete or damaged.

The circular drain for a concrete swimming pool It is made from ABS and features UV protection.
