Set of 3 Electric Panel Probes for Compensating Vessels

Reference: 109011

The Set of 3 Electric Panel Probes for Compensating Vessels It enables the detection of different water levels in infinity pools. The sensors transmit the information to a compatible control unit, which automatically manages the filling process via the corresponding solenoid valve. They are supplied with pre-fitted connectors to facilitate installation and are suitable as replacement parts for Trypool’s ELECLLENS control units.

An essential accessory for automating the filling of expansion tanks with complete precision.

Set of 3 probes for monitoring the expansion tank

The Set of 3 Electric Panel Probes for Compensating Vessels It is designed to detect different water levels inside the tank of an infinity pool.

The sensors transmit the information to the compatible control panel. The automatic control system interprets these signals and controls the opening or closing of the fill solenoid valve to maintain the set water level.

Although the trade name is retained exactly as you have indicated, within the text we will use more natural expressions such as set of three probes, level sensors y probes for expansion tanks. This improves readability and allows you to carry out various related searches without changing the product name.

Monitoring different water levels

This data sheet describes the detection of minimum, medium and maximum levels. The probes are positioned at different heights inside the tank so that the control unit can interpret the water level status.

Depending on the panel’s settings, these signals can be used for:

  • Detect an insufficient level.
  • Ask for a glass of water.
  • Stop filling when the set level is reached.
  • Monitor the condition of the water in the tank.
  • To reduce the risk of overflow or water shortages.

The exact function of each probe must be determined by referring to the relevant ELECLLENS diagram.

Solenoid valve control

The sensors do not power or directly operate the solenoid valve. Their function is to detect the level.

The process is carried out as follows:

  1. The probes detect the presence of water at different depths.
  2. The control panel receives the signals.
  3. The automatic system detects the level in the glass.
  4. The control unit opens or closes the 24 V fill solenoid valve.
  5. The water level remains within the set range.

Trypool supplies ELECLLENS control panels and solenoid valves designed for this type of automatic system.

Application in expansion tanks

The equalising tank receives water from the overflow channel and serves as a reservoir for the filtration circuit.

Maintaining an appropriate level is important for:

  • Allow the water to circulate.
  • To compensate for variations caused by bathers.
  • Replace any losses due to evaporation or washing.
  • Avoid overfilling the tank.
  • Ensure that the extraction conditions are adequate.

The sensors must be installed in precisely defined positions so that the automatic control system can detect the level.

Resistance to the swimming pool environment

The Trypool product data sheet states that the probes are made from materials that are resistant to chlorine and moisture. However, the specific material used for the electrodes and insulation must be added to the technical data sheet once it has been confirmed.

Installation

Installation must be carried out whilst the switchboard is switched off and in accordance with its wiring diagram.

It is recommended that:

  • Position the probes at the specified heights.
  • Ensure that they do not come into contact with one another.
  • Keep them away from severe turbulence.
  • Secure the cables properly.
  • Do not carry out splicing in damp areas without adequate protection.
  • Identify each conductor before connecting it.
  • Check that the control panel is responding correctly before switching the system to automatic mode.

The connection must be carried out by a qualified professional.

Maintenance

During routine checks, it is advisable to:

  • Clean the electrodes.
  • Remove limescale, grease or accumulated dirt.
  • Check the cable insulation.
  • Check the connectors.
  • Check that the probes are at the correct height.
  • Test the automatic filling function.
  • Check that the solenoid valve opens and closes correctly.
  • Replace any probe that is corroded, broken or giving an unstable reading.
