Product information

Rotating single-jet nozzle for spas and hydromassage areas

The single-jet rotary jet It is an accessory designed to create hydromassage points through the dynamic propulsion of water.

Its swivelling outlet directs the water flow onto a specific area, making it possible to create seats, benches and massage areas within swimming pools and spas.

Made from white ABS

The jet is made from white ABS, a finish that allows it to blend in seamlessly with spa facilities and hydromassage areas.

The Trypool data sheet specifies an operating flow rate of 2.5 m³/h per unit. This value must be taken into account when sizing the pump and the hydraulic circuit when installing several jets.

Rotational effect of a single jet

The single-outlet design concentrates the flow at a single point and creates a rotational movement of the water.

It can be used to create:

  • Individual massage points.
  • Hydromassage seats.
  • Spa benches.
  • Relaxation areas within a swimming pool.
  • Circuits with several jets distributed around the pool.

The equivalent official version of AstralPool is designed for spas and hydromassage areas and offers a flow rate of between 2 and 2.5 m³/h.

Jet body not included

This product is only available in the front-mounted rotary jet.

To complete the installation, you will need to purchase the compatible rotary jet unit separately; this allows the fitting to be connected to the hydraulic circuit and secured to the bath wall.

The equivalent AstralPool pump housing is compatible with both single-jet and dual-jet rotary models. The manufacturer offers configurations for concrete pools and lined pools, but you should check which specific model Trypool supplies for each installation.

Pump selection

A pump should not be selected solely on the basis of its power in CV.

The installer must bear in mind:

  1. Total number of jets.
  2. Flow rate required per unit.
  3. Number of jets that will operate simultaneously.
  4. Pipe length and diameter.
  5. Manometric head.
  6. Elbows, valves and manifolds.
  7. Pressure drops in the circuit.
  8. Desired massage intensity.

The 1.50 CV Trypower pump shown under «Complete your order» may be a related product, but it should not be presented as compatible with any installation without first carrying out a hydraulic calculation.

Professional installation

The jet body must be fitted during the construction or refurbishment of the pool.

Before installing it, the following must be checked:

  • Type of swimming pool or spa.
  • Cladding material.
  • Wall thickness.
  • Compatibility between the jet and the body.
  • Location of the massage point.
  • Pipe diameter.
  • Available flow rate.
  • Access to the rear of the building.
  • Pump drive system.

Installation must be carried out by a professional and must comply with the layout of the unit used.

Maintenance

To ensure the jet continues to function properly, we recommend:

  • Check the movement of the outlet regularly.
  • Remove any limescale or dirt that has built up.
  • Check the condition of the seals.
  • Check that the joint is airtight.
  • Check that the flow rate does not decrease.
  • Avoid using tools that could damage the ABS.
  • Check the pump and the circuit if the flow is insufficient.
