3″ selector valve for the swimming pool filtration system

The 3-inch swimming pool selector valve It is designed to monitor the operation of the hydraulic circuit and facilitate maintenance work on the Vulcano Ø1200 filter.

Its 6-way side-mounted control panel allows you to easily select the various operations required to keep the pool water properly filtered and the equipment in good working order.

Six functions for controlling pool filtration

This selector valve enables six different functions:

• Filtration: It directs the water from the swimming pool through the filter before returning it, now clean, to the pool.
• Washing: reverses the flow of water to clean the filter media.
• Rinse: removes any remaining dirt after washing and settles the filter media.
• Recirculation: It circulates the water without it passing through the filter.
• Dumping: It allows water to be drained from the swimming pool directly into the drain.
• Closed: stops the flow of water through the circuit.

These settings allow you to control the pool’s routine filtration, cleaning and maintenance operations from a single valve.

Compatible with the Vulcano Ø1200 filter

The valve is designed for side-mounted installation on the Vulcano filter, Ø1200.

Its versatile design allows it to be adapted to different hydraulic configurations, making it easy to connect and ensuring a proper seal whilst the filtration system is in operation.

Manufactured for swimming pool installations

The valve body is made of ABS, a material commonly used in hydraulic components for swimming pools.

All the seals are made from EPDM, helping to maintain the circuit’s airtightness throughout the various operating positions.

Suitable for swimming pools with salt chlorination

The screws are made of stainless steel AISI 316L, particularly suitable for swimming pool installations using salt chlorination.

This makes the valve suitable for systems operating in humid and saline environments.

Sight glass for monitoring filter backwashing

The valve incorporates a liquid sight glass made from polycarbonate.

This sight glass allows you to visually check the condition of the water during the wash and rinse cycles, helping you to identify when the water runs clear again.
