The flat leaf collector with wing nut fastening It is a hand-held accessory designed to remove leaves, insects and other debris floating on the surface of the water. Regular use helps to keep the pool clean and reduces the amount of debris that might end up in the skimmers, the pump’s pre-filter or at the bottom of the pool.
Its flat design allows the net to be moved close to the surface using gentle, controlled movements. It is particularly useful for carrying out quick checks before opening a swimming pool to the public, after periods of strong wind or during routine maintenance tasks.
This model has the reference number PLAP and is supplied in boxes of 24.
This version includes a fastening with a wing nut. The leaf collector must be attached to a pole that is compatible with this mounting system.
Before placing your order, it is advisable to check the type of connection used by the available pole. Trypool sells a 3.6-metre mixed-use telescopic pole compatible with both screw-on and clip-on accessories. Also available is the 4.8-metre mixed-use telescopic pole for larger swimming pools.
The pole should be chosen according to the size of the swimming pool, the distance it needs to reach and the type of accessory to be attached.
To remove debris, it is recommended that you lower the net slightly below the surface and move it slowly towards the leaves or insects. Movements that are too rapid may push the debris around the frame rather than drawing it into the net.

When you need to collect a larger amount of dirt or reach debris that is deeper down, you can use the bag-type leaf rake with wing nut fastening. Its bag offers greater capacity and is better suited to accumulated leaves or dirt lying beneath the surface.
The leaf collector can form part of a maintenance team alongside a 44 cm curved brush with wing nut fastening, designed to remove dirt clinging to surfaces, and a 35 cm aluminium manual pool cleaner for cleaning the bottom.
