UVScenic UV hydrolysis system | 16 g/h – 50 g/h

Reference: UV

The UVScenic ultraviolet hydrolysis system combines hydrolysis treatment with ultraviolet radiation to improve the control and disinfection of swimming pool water. The range is available in different models to suit various installations and can be configured with pH regulation, redox control, free chlorine measurement, temperature monitoring and remote connectivity.

Product information

UVScenic ultraviolet hydrolysis system

UVScenic is an advanced system for the treatment and management of swimming pool water that combines hydrolysis and ultraviolet radiation.

The equipment is available in a range of versions to suit different installations. When selecting a model, you should take into account the volume of water, the temperature, the operating hours, sun exposure and the intended use of the swimming pool.

Water treatment by hydrolysis

Hydrolysis utilises the circulation of water through the cell to generate oxidising species that play a part in water treatment.

This process helps to enhance the system’s disinfection capacity and forms part of the technological offering of the Sugar Valley range.

Please refer to the documentation for the selected variant for the exact settings and operating conditions.

Treatment using ultraviolet radiation

The water passes through a chamber fitted with an ultraviolet lamp. The radiation acts on the microorganisms as they pass through the system and complements the action of hydrolysis.

UV treatment takes place inside the chamber and does not, on its own, leave a permanent disinfectant residue in the tank. For this reason, it should be regarded as part of the overall treatment system.

Hayward describes its combined systems as solutions in which ultraviolet light, hydrolysis and low-salinity treatment work in a complementary manner.

Integrated treatment system

UVScenic allows you to centralise various functions relating to the maintenance and operation of the swimming pool.

Depending on the selected configuration, the system can manage:

  • Treatment by hydrolysis.
  • Ultraviolet radiation.
  • Automatic pH control.
  • Redox or ORP control.
  • Measurement of free chlorine.
  • Water temperature.
  • Filtration timetables.
  • Variable-speed pumps.
  • Pool lighting.
  • Auxiliary outputs.
  • Remote connectivity.

Optional features must be confirmed before placing an order.

Different models for each installation

The UVScenic range is available in several versions.

To choose the right model, you should consider:

  • Total volume of the swimming pool.
  • Maximum water temperature.
  • Number of bathers.
  • Private, community or intensive use.
  • Sun exposure.
  • Existence of a roof.
  • Hours of filtration per day.
  • System flow rate.
  • Initial water quality.
  • Request for treatment.
  • Space available in the technical room.

A variant should not be selected on the basis of the pool’s theoretical volume alone.

Display and system control

The display allows you to view the main parameters and access the device’s settings.

Depending on the model and the accessories fitted, professional users can monitor the treatment process, view readings and control various pieces of equipment associated with the swimming pool.

Hayward states that the range can manage filtration, lighting, temperature and chemical control from a single control unit.

Remote connectivity

UVScenic can be fitted with Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity, depending on the configuration.

This function allows you to monitor parameters and carry out certain control operations remotely via the compatible platform or app.

The inclusion of the communication module must be checked for each item.

Recommended applications

The UVScenic ultraviolet hydrolysis system is suitable for:

  • Private swimming pools.
  • Residential swimming pools.
  • Communal swimming pools, depending on size.
  • New facilities.
  • Refurbishment of technical rooms.
  • Projects involving automated processing.
  • Swimming pools that aim to operate using a lower salt concentration.
  • Systems requiring automatic control.
  • Projects involving the centralised control of different pieces of equipment.
  • Professionals who need a range of configuration options.

Installation recommendations

Installation must be carried out in accordance with the hydraulic and electrical diagrams for the selected model.

The cell and the ultraviolet chamber must be positioned in accordance with the following:

  • The direction of traffic.
  • The mounting position.
  • The operating flow rate.
  • The maximum permitted pressure.
  • The gap between us and the other teams.
  • The location of the probes.
  • The position of the injection points.
  • The necessary electrical safety measures.

The system should only operate when water is flowing.

The probes must be installed in a representative section of the circuit and the control products must be injected at the point specified by the manufacturer.

Commissioning must be carried out or supervised by a qualified professional.
