Product information

Manual aluminium pool cleaner for pool floor maintenance

The 35 cm aluminium manual pool cleaner with wing nut fastening It is designed to vacuum up dirt settled at the bottom of the pool using the power of the filtration system. The head connects to a Ø38 mm suction hose and is manoeuvred using a telescopic pole compatible with a wing nut fitting. Trypool identifies this product as FOND35P and confirms the availability of spare parts for its maintenance.

Its 35 cm width allows it to cover a large area with each pass without being too bulky for manual handling. It is designed for routine maintenance tasks where sand, dust, small debris and dirt settled on the floor need to be removed.

Fastening with a wing nut

The wing nut system allows the pool cleaner to be attached to a pole designed for this type of connection.

Before starting the cleaning, you must check that:

  • The tab is correctly positioned.
  • The thread shows no signs of damage.
  • The head has no play.
  • The pole is firmly in place.
  • The accessory can be moved without coming loose.

A pole designed solely for clips must not be used, unless it incorporates a compatible combined system.

Hose connection, Ø38 mm

The data sheet specifies a connection for a Ø38 mm hose. The hose must connect the pool cleaner to the suction inlet, the skimmer or the system provided for in the installation.

Before connecting it, it must be filled completely with water to remove any air. If air pockets remain inside, the pump may lose its suction capacity, make noise or fail to prime properly.

The connector used on the pool outlet must be compatible with the Ø38 mm hose and with the thread on the suction nozzle.

Directions for use

The pool cleaner should move slowly, using partially overlapping passes. Rapid movements may stir up dirt before it is sucked up.

When cleaning, it is advisable to keep an eye on:

  • The filter pressure.
  • The suction flow rate.
  • The condition of the pre-filter.
  • The presence of air in the circuit.
  • The build-up of waste.

If there is a lot of dirt at the bottom, it may be necessary to clean the pre-filter or run the machine several times.

Compatible coatings

Trypool does not currently specify whether this product is intended for use with concrete, mosaic tiles, liners or polyester.

Before using it on delicate pool surfaces, you should check that the wheels, brushes and edges of the cleaning head are compatible. It should not be marketed as suitable for all types of swimming pools until this information is available.

Spare parts and maintenance

Trypool states that spare parts are available for the product and sells a kit for the 35 cm manual pool cleaner.

After each use, it is recommended that you:

  • Rinse the head with clean water.
  • Remove hair and debris.
  • Check the wheels and pins.
  • Check the wing nut.
  • Check the brush.
  • Keep it away from knocks and concentrated chemicals.

Replacing worn components helps to maintain smooth operation and extend the service life of the assembly.

Available all spare parts.
